Pleasanton Downtown Association Concerts in the Park
Concerts in the Park series is back with a full summer of incredible music and fun for all ages! Concerts will take place every Friday night from June 7 through August 30, featuring an eclectic mix of music from rock, blues and country to 50’s and 60’s oldies, soul, and more. The free concerts run from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and take place at Lions Wayside Park on the corner of First and Neal Streets.
Patrons are encouraged to pick up dinner “to go” from one of Downtown Pleasanton's many restaurants and bring it with them to the park. Be sure to visit the PDA’s social media pages throughout Concert in the Park season for specials and offers from the wide variety of wonderful Downtown restaurants.
While guests are allowed to put out blankets and chairs (at their own risk) in Lions Wayside and Delucchi Parks, they are asked to wait until the morning of the concert to do so. The use of rocks to hold down blankets is prohibited, as large rocks can damage lawn-mowing equipment. Also, the use of plastic tarps, which can burn the grass, is not allowed.

Museum on Main Welcomes New Exhibit
The new traveling exhibit, Textures of Remembrance: Vietnamese Artists and Writers Reflect on the Vietnamese Diaspora, explores a date that impacts many Vietnamese Americans: April 30, 1975, the end of the Vietnam War. Featuring works by 25 Vietnamese artists and writers, these narratives texturize the Vietnamese diasporic experience, in which refugees are not objects of rescue but instead subjects of artistic and political transformation. Textures of Remembrance will be on view through September 21.

Leadership Pleasanton Class of 2025: Sign up for our waitlist | |
A Program to Develop Community Leaders
"Leadership Pleasanton provided a unique opportunity to connect with fellow community members, business leaders, and city leaders to learn about Pleasanton's rich history and how the city operates. I have lived in Pleasanton most of my life and am amazed at how little I knew. The program exceeded my expectations and I'd highly recommend it to anyone."
The Leadership Pleasanton program was created by the Pleasanton Chamber in 1988 and has produced more than 830 graduates in its 30-plus years. Each class is comprised of individuals from all sectors of our community, from local businesses, professional, government, service organizations, and Pleasanton residents. In September of each year, roughly 30 individuals participate in monthly, day-long sessions on topics such as Pleasanton history, government, education, recreation, business, public safety, health, and infrastructure. Participants have the opportunity to go behind the scenes with current leaders in the community to learn what makes Pleasanton work.
Sign up for the Leadership Class of 2025 waitlist.
