💝Alternative holiday giving will help Ugandan families living in poverty

On Sunday December 15 and 22 your purchases of handcrafted items made by Ugandan women will help them feed their families and have funds to send their children to school. Our UCC Norwell liaison with Outreach Uganda is Debbie Wheeler. There is a summer volunteer trip opportunity to Uganda for someone who has elementary classroom teaching experience. Email Debbie if you're interested.

It's all about balance: salad and sweets still needed for this Sunday's Holiday Ball

The Youth Group sponsors this event that brings so much joy and fun for those with developmental disabilities. Although we have done a lot of preparation and planning, we could always use help! If you would like to help with the preparation, baking, donating or other items, please sign up by Wednesday, December 11 or email Bob Caldeira.

DCF holiday gift drive presents due now

Did you select an ornament from the tree to make a child's holiday merry and bright by providing them with gifts this Christmas season? This year we have the Youth Group helping us wrap on December 14, so please get your gifts back to the Children + Family Ministry team as soon as possible, or by December 15, so the team can wrap the gifts and get them delivered! Questions? Reach out to Julie with any questions or concerns.

Winter walk at Norris Reservation

This is not a drop off for kids; an adult must be present, and this walk is for all ages! RSVP to jenny

Christmas Pageant | Sunday 12/22 during worship

While the children will lead us, this story is for all ages

Join in the journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem in a service led by our church school children. There will be angels and shepherds, music and Magi, Mary and Joseph and a little baby laid in a manger.

Here's a little taste of what to expect. . .

Here it begins, in the dark before dawning.

Here, in a barn full of animal smells.

The warm breath of cattle, the sounds of the morning,

Here without tinsel or tolling of bells.

Isaiah foretold it, the Messiah is coming,

The bearer of light, with a heart that can beat!

Twas Mary accepted with courage and grace

God’s task set before her, an angel to greet.

Let’s join together and wander the way

from Nazareth to Bethlehem long, long ago

To find light in the darkness, a child in a stable.

The shepherds, the angels and Mary aglow.
