FROM YOUR TOURISM DIRECTOR
Relax and unwind on hot summer days!
| |
Dear Friends and Members,
As the summer continues to warm our days, it's the perfect time to embrace the joys of relaxation and rejuvenation here in our beautiful region. August is an ideal month for unwinding and soaking in the serene beauty that the Treasure Coast offers.
Imagine yourself lounging on the unspoiled sands of Sebastian Inlet State Park, a haven for sunbathing, beachcombing, and swimming. With its consistent waves, the park also attracts surfers from all over, making it a vibrant spot for both relaxation and excitement.
Take a leisurely drive along the Indian River Lagoon National Scenic Byway, where each bend in the road reveals breathtaking views of our pristine coastline, lush spoil islands, and sparkling waterways. The natural beauty of this drive is sure to provide a sense of peace and wonder.
For those who love fishing, the Indian River Lagoon is a treasure trove of opportunities. Known as one of the most biodiverse estuaries in North America, it teems with a variety of fish species. Whether you prefer freshwater or saltwater fishing, you can enjoy the thrill of catching snook, redfish, and tarpon in these rich waters.
As the day draws to a close, find a cozy spot at one of our hotels or many bars and restaurants along the shoreline. Savor the stunning sunsets in the sky over the Indian River Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean and let the evening's tranquility wash over you. Enjoy your time by the water,
This August, we invite you to take a moment to appreciate the present and embrace the opportunity to relax, recharge, and take time to celebrate with friends and family. We wish you a peaceful and joyful summer vacation.
Warm regards,
Sebastian Chamber of Commerce
