Spectrum (Charter) awarded Palmetto Care Connections $25,000 to provide digital literacy training to residents in Norway, SC. On December 7, Spectrum hosted a Winter Wonderland Event in Norway -“The Town of Norway & Spectrum’s Life Unlimited,” a Holiday Celebration of Charter’s Investment for South Carolina Main Street Project .

DEA Issues Temporary Rule Extending Telemedicine Flexibilities

We continue to carefully consider the input received and are working to promulgate a final set of telemedicine regulations. However, with the end of 2024 quickly approaching, DEA, jointly with HHS, has extended current telemedicine flexibilities through December 31, 2025. The full text of the extension, entitled “Third Temporary Extension of COVID-19 Telemedicine Flexibilities for Prescription of Controlled Medications,” was submitted to the Federal Register jointly with HHS on November 15, 2024.

CY 2025 Final Medicare Physician Fee Schedule

On November 1, 2024, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released the final rule for the 2025 Physician Fee Schedule (PFS).The Center for Connected Health Policy has created a fact sheet outlining telehealth specific data points.
