NAIA Connect

Rules Education Deadline Extended to October 1

The National Eligibility Committee has extended the deadline for completing Rules Education Training to October 1. This one-time extension is due to the delay in providing NAIA Connect access to newly hired athletics personnel.

Rules education is accessed through NAIA Connect, and training resources are available below. Included in the resource link is updated content from previous ECP/ Rules Ed webinar presentations and updates.

Due to license limitations, not all athletics personnel received NAIA Connect login instructions. These groups should contact their athletics directors to obtain the self-registration link to complete the rules education training.

For questions about rules education, contact Legislative Services.

For questions about the NAIA Connect platform, contact NAIA Connect Support.

TRAINING RESOURCES

Character-Driven Coaches Training Has Moved to NAIA Connect

We are excited to announce that all required trainings, including the Character-Driven Coaches Training, are now conveniently housed under one roof on NAIA Connect. This streamlined approach ensures easy access to all the necessary resources in one place.

The Coaches Training will still be available on Learn NAIA until July 31. If you have coaches who need to start the training, we encourage them to log into NAIA Connect and complete the training requirement there. Transitioning to NAIA Connect now will prevent any loss of progress after July 31.

For coaches who have already begun training on Learn NAIA, please ensure they complete it by July 31 to avoid disruptions.

To access the Coaches Training in NAIA Connect, click on "Learning & Training" in the top blue ribbon, then select "My Training" and search for "Character-Driven Coaches Training." If you have any questions or issues accessing the training, please contact Student-Athlete Experience & Development.

Winning Decisions Module 1: Foundations

Last month, the NAIA launched Winning Decisions, a tailored educational program designed to empower cabinet members to navigate, understand, and deploy the Return on Athletics® (ROA) platform and data.

Winning Decisions modules are optimized for learning and take less than 30 minutes to complete. Our first module, Foundations, provides an overview of ROA’s purpose and the nine measurable KPIs assessed in the ROA platform.

You can access the first module of Winning Decisions by logging into NAIA Connect and navigating to "The Learning Hub" (on the top navigation bar).

Issues Logging into NAIA Connect?

Due to license limitations, not all athletics personnel received NAIA Connect login instructions, e.g., some assistant coaches, volunteer coaches, and graduate assistants.

For those who do have access, remember that your username is your email with .naia added to the end. For example, if your email is mike@college.edu, your username is mike@college.edu.naia.
