Starting January 1, 2025, we invite all designers, architects and

design students to showcase their groundbreaking work and compete

for this prestigious accolade. This year, we're not just honoring outstanding

design—we're celebrating a decade of pushing boundaries and setting

new standards in the industry.

“My first ASID award was in 2020 for Luxury Residential Bath for a really special home addition we did for the sweetest clients ever…who are sweet potato and almond farmers. The bathroom design was super glamorous and it was such a treat to be given this award.”

University Student Union Redesign

Attention Fresno State design students! We are looking for 2-3 volunteers to help with an exciting project—redesigning the lounge and dining areas in the old Student Union. This is an unpaid opportunity but it's a great way to enhance your portfolio and make a positive impact on campus for future students.

We are specifically looking for ASID members | Interior Design students with experience in software (Revit, AutoCAD, etc.).

Recruitment Committee:

Leader is Isabel. You guys will be recruiting people to the Interior Design program at Fresno State. You’ll visit schools and get to talk to people.

External Activities Committee:

Leader is Eleni. You will be in charge of finding activities outside of school for the ASID program to go to. Field trips, events, etc.

Internal Activities Committee:

Leader is Julia. You guys will be in charge of the activities that will take place within school.

Mentorship Committee:

Leader is Ashley. You guys will be in charge of finding local interior designers to partner with students and be their mentors throughout school. You will also pair new students with upperclassmen as mentors throughout their time. Really cool opportunity for learning, growing, and guiding/receiving guidance.
