The Crossroads at Washington is a public-private partnership between A Community of Friends (ACOF) and Related CA, along with the City of Santa Ana, and the County of Orange. Located on 2.29 acres of County and City-owned land in Santa Ana’s historic Logan neighborhood, The Crossroads at Washington is an 86-unit, affordable development for extremely low-income families and Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) residents. Forty-three apartments have been set aside as PSH for those who are experiencing homelessness, and twenty of those apartments are prioritized for Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) tenants. The Crossroads at Washington is one of the first affordable developments in the City of Santa Ana to focus specifically on families and special needs households with incomes at or below 30% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
ACOF will provide a range of on-site social services for the residents, including health services, adult educational health and wellness classes, and skill-building classes. The Orange County Health Care Agency (OCHA) will provide individualized services for the MHSA residents.
Grand Opening Highlights:
- Ribbon-cutting ceremony with community leaders, partners, and new residents
- Tours of the thoughtfully designed units and shared spaces
- Speeches from ACOF staff and residents, sharing stories of resilience and hope
Thank you to everyone who made this project possible! With the support of our dedicated partners, we’re opening doors to a brighter future for our tenants.
