We are celebrating the news that our Headmaster, Dr. Dania Vazquez has been named an ALX 100 honoree by the Boston Globe in partnership with Amplify Latin X. She has been selected as one of the 100 brightest Latino leaders from across Massachusetts.

Be on the lookout for the Sept. 15th edition of the Globe Magazine highlighting the impact by people of Hispanic and Latin American heritage across Massachusetts and learn how they inspire future leaders.

We are delighted to announce that the BARR Foundation has approved a #300,000 grant over the next three years to the Margarita Muniz Academy Foundation. This grant is to support transformation in learning and teaching to advance the Portrait of the Graduate.

We are profoundly grateful to the BARR Foundation for acknowledging and supporting the efforts of the leadership and faculty of this school on behalf of its students.

We are so excited to let you know that Margarita Muñiz Academy Food Pantry has been selected again by Stop & Shop’s leadership team as a Stop & Shop Bloomin 4 Good Program Nonprofit Partner. This means that the Muñiz Academy will receive $1 for each specially marked $10.99 Bloomin 4 Good bouquet sold during the Month of September 2024 at 301 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, MA

Dania Vazquez, our Headmaster, is on the host committee for 826 Boston’s Night of 1,000 Stories to be held at City winery on October 9th and she invites you to join her that night. This youth writing/publishing organization works in several BPS schools. We are so lucky to have 826 Boston at the Muñiz Academy 4 days a week helping our students become published authors.
