Good Afternoon Bobcat Parents,

This past Spring I began reading The Anxious Generation How the Great Rewiring of Childhood is Causing an Epidemic of Mental Illness by Jonathan Haidt.  

I found the information in the book eye-opening as an educator and shocking as a parent. 

There have been many instances over the last 9 years that I have sat with many of you during times of overwhelm around how to best tackle the social media challenge in our homes. I am hoping that some of you will find the information from this book useful during those times of struggle.

My intent with the Secrets to Help You Cat with Social Media - Tips Cat Parents Should Know - videos is to simply share with you what I have learned from the book.  

Over the next several weeks I will share a 2 to 3 minute video that summarizes information in each chapter of the book. I will also include a Cat Family Challenge for each chapter that will prompt reflection and discussions around social media use in your home and on our campus.

Again, my intent is to simply share the insights provided in the book for you in case you feel it will be helpful in navigating social media with your Cat.
