On Community Service Day, 7th grader Victor and 6th grader Azro worked together preparing pans for 48 loaves of pumpkin bread baked to go in care packages to neighbors along Red Village Road who were impacted by the summer's floods. We're grateful to the Lyndon Bible Church for sharing their kitchen facility!

Puffs has been canceled -- sort of. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the fall one act play will not be taking place Friday at St J Academy, as planned. But part of the show must go on! We are presenting an abbreviated version of the students' effort in the Riverside barn during a morning assembly on Monday, Dec. 16. Family members of cast members are encouraged to attend.
HOLIDAY MEALS FOR TEACHERS |
Please join the PAG in showing our immense appreciation for the faculty and staff at The Riverside School. In lieu of other holiday gifts, each year we ask parents to join in providing nourishing breakfasts and lunches during the last week of school in December (the 13th-17th) as a way to thank our dedicated teachers for all of their hard work.
We are feeding 23 people, and it takes a village to pull this off, so we encourage everyone to sign up for a slot here. Please write what dish you plan to make so that others can consider that when adding to the same meal, and then we can create a well rounded menu for the teachers each day. Also, please don't feel like the vegetarian lunch options have to be salads since we added specific salad/veggie spots. Dietary restrictions and specifications are listed next to each meal.
If you would rather spend some time setting up, serving, cleaning up, or packing leftovers during the day, that is also a much appreciated part of this gift and there are sign up slots for those tasks as well. Thank you so much for your contribution - Riverside faculty & staff look forward to this every year!

There is much more to Riverside than just the unique campus and the special community; we are a school that focuses on experiences that enrich our students’ academic learning and, more broadly, their childhoods. Those “extra” things we do are vital to the Riverside experience. Community giving allows us to maintain small class sizes, provide academic intervention and enrichment, provide a salary and benefits package to retain our excellent faculty, fund our outdoor education and field trips, and much more. At a small school like Riverside, every donation has a direct impact on our students. This year, we’re asking you to consider all that makes this school special when you make your gift. Thank you for your support.
