Team Suffolk CAC Announced

We look forward to cheering on Caitlyn DiCillo, Mike Fish, Adam Jay, Colleen Linehan, and Sara Parsons as they train and fundraise in the coming months.

Stay tuned to our socials or visit their fundraising pages (linked above) to support them throughout their training and fundraising journeys.

It Takes All of Us

The CAC focuses on ending abuse and helping families heal each and every day. But we don’t do it alone. It takes a community. It takes all of us.

As a supporter of the CAC, you are part of that community. With your help we are working to identify, respond to, and even prevent child abuse and exploitation.

By making a donation today, you will make it possible for the CAC to continue to provide lifesaving services for the nearly 2,000 children who will walk through our doors in the coming year.

We have come so far and helped so many children but there is more to do, and we need your help to do it.

With your support today, you can ensure the children and families of Suffolk County receive the expert care they need and deserve.

CAC Mission & Values

For nearly 30 years, we have been here to support the children and families of Suffolk County. Our mission has always been, and continues to be, to unite public, private and community partners to ensure safety, healing and justice for children and families impacted by abuse, violence, and exploitation.

Our commitment to that safety, healing, and justice is unwavering. And we remain vigilant and steadfast in advocating for policies and legislation that support all of the children and families we serve―no matter their identity, background, economic status, or immigration status.

To accomplish our mission, we uphold five key values in every interaction with partners, supporters, community members, and the children, youth and families we serve:

  • Child & Family Centered
  • Collaborative Relationships
  • Courageous
  • Equity & Inclusion
  • Leadership

Recent Highlight

The Step Up & Speak Out benefit was a magical and inspiring evening and our photographers―Victoria George and Michael Feltis― captured it all beautifully!

You can check out this highlight reel that includes a few of their photos and some of the moving remarks from the program.

The full photo album of photos from the event can be found on the CAC's Facebook page. You don't need a Facebook account to access the album. If there's a photo you love and want a high resolution version of, email events@suffolkcac.org and we'll send it over to you right away!

Staff Spotlight

Annie Fournier is the CAC's newest Mental Health intern. She supports the team in connecting families with resources, providing clinical care to children, and supporting families.

Annie is a second-year clinical student pursuing a Masters in Social Work at Boston College with a focus in children, youth, and families. She graduated with a BS in Psychology from the The University of Tampa. Along with her MSW, she is pursuing a certificate in trauma at Boston College. She is passionate about working with children and providing support after they have experienced trauma, and she hopes to work at a CAC full-time in the future.

Community Connections

In October, the CAC staff visited Mahoney's Garden Center in Brighton to share a new experience, learn about which plants thrive best indoors, and pot our own plants to brighten up our office spaces.

Our team works hard each day to center child abuse survivors' voices and advocate for safety, healing, and justice and this was a restorative activity that was educational and fun!
