Learn About the APF + Human Development Foundation Fellowship Experience from Zahra Hassan

Zahra Hassan recently completed the first APF + Human Development Foundation (HDF) Fellowship. Zahra reports from Islamabad:

"My involvement was a deeply moving and inspiring experience. Having the opportunity to understand in depth how holistically HDF provides for marginalized and disadvantaged communities was transformative. Now, I have a much deeper sense of commitment to serving the underprivileged and a greater knowledge of how to do that constructively and in a lasting way."

The APF Get Out The Vote (GOTV 2024) initiative has been a yearlong nonpartisan endeavor to encourage, inform, empower, and unite the Pakistani American, South Asian American, AAPI community and friends to pledge an informed vote in the United States presidential, state, and local elections.

We conducted a first-of-its-kind research report that captures personal stories from Pakistani American community members across the United States and provides a detailed analysis of our community's civic engagement and voter participation trends through oral interviews and a literature review.
