Support of Post Street Becoming a Pedestrian Mall | At the November 5th City Council meeting, the Chamber voiced support for the proposed Post St. Pedestrian Mall, a project that would enhance the local economy, create vibrant public spaces, and contribute to downtown revitalization efforts. By transforming Post Street into a pedestrian-only area, the mall would boost foot traffic, retail sales, and community events, strengthening businesses and public life. We have seen the success of these changes through the permanent closure of San Pedro Street, creating a known destination for restaurants and entertainment. | |
