THIS WEEK'S TALK BY

VIC SORRELL

"Power and Force"

"Authenticity is a conduit for the power to create our most fulfilling lives, yet how do we see a way to live authentically? In a society reliant upon force, how do we differentiate between these two forces for creation?" - Vic Sorrell

Vic Sorrell is a born communicator on a mission to share what he has learned that makes his life better. Centering the invitation to realize our True nature in Love, Vic’s work speaks to aligning consciously with that Truth to create lives of power, passion, and prosperity. A student of A Course In Miracles, Unity, and Religious Science for over twenty years, Vic lists Marianne Williamson, Caroline Myss, and Michael Beckwith as influential teachers. An inspirational speaker in many arenas, Vic also supports others in their own realization of True empowerment as a Holistic Life Coach. Vic believes, as we support others on the path to being who they truly are, we help create a world where we’re all who we came to be.

GUEST ARTIST

Miss Jackie Wilson

Miss Jackie Wilson has one of those voices that you will never forget. She started singing at the age of three, inspired by her mother’s musical influence. Her music can be described as a mix of Ann Peebles, Aretha Franklin, Joss Stone, Chaka Khan, and a little Whitney Houston. When she sings, Jackie won't just sing to your soul, she'll touch, and inspire it! Notably, Jackie was a Season 10 Top 40 American Idol Finalist. She wowed the judges and audiences worldwide. Jackie headlined four years at Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar, located in Printer's Alley in Nashville. She helped build a stellar Saturday night that folks came to Nashville just to experience! When she takes the stage hold on to your seat and prepare for a musical journey reminiscent of the feeling music gave you back in the day with a flare of something new, authentic, and fiercely different that is only....Miss Jackie Wilson!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Up for Grabs

Unity is decluttering and has put things that are free on the tables on the wall closest to the sanctuary. They have offered that if anyone in our community wants any of these items to feel free to take them. Please note that the items on the tables at the very end of the Fellowship Hall are not available for the taking. You'll recognize those items as there are several Christmas decorations on those tables. These are items Unity is keeping and will be moved to storage.

Financial Reporting

We are changing the way we report finances in the newsletter. Rather than reporting on a weekly basis, we will report the previous month financials in the first newsletter of the month. Going forward, we will include our total revenues and expenditures.

Check out the Property

It’s been a little over 4 months since we moved to Unity’s Campus and it is beautiful! If you are not aware, there is a labyrinth, a meditation space, and various spaces where groups can gather on over 9 beautiful acres. If you haven’t done it already, take a walk around the property, walk the labyrinth, find a special place for prayer or meditation and check out this wonderful space!

Online Service Chat Box Volunteers Needed

CSLN is looking for a few volunteers from our online community to moderate the YouTube chat box on Sunday mornings. This is a great opportunity for our members who prefer watching our service online to get involved and help our online viewers connect. You'll be provided some tools to get you started and can volunteer for as many Sundays per month as you like. Contact Rekell at admin@cslnashville.org if you are interested.

SPIRITUAL MIND TREATMENT

 David Arnholter, RScP

I know that there is only One Power, One Spirit, One Love. I am one with this Power. I am one with Spirit. I am one with Love. I know this fully and completely!

This Power is flowing in and through me now, healing every organ of my body, every thought in my mind, every function of my body. There is no fear, no doubt and no uncertainty in my mind. The love of Spirit expressing in and through me, directs me, protects me and guides me every step of my life.

And I know this same healing Power is flowing through our beloved Center and Community. All is well as our Community thrives and prospers!

I give thanks for Spirit expressing in my Life. I give thanks for Ernest Holmes and the Science of Mind teaching. I give thanks for the vibrant, loving, abundant Community of CSL Nashville.

Accepting “Love Expressing” as my life experience, I release my word into the Universal Law of Mind, which always says YES! Knowing it has already made all of this or something even better, so.

And so it is.
