Cooks On A Mission Thanksgiving Menu & Pop-Up Shop

Take the easy (but delicious!) way out this year and order your Thanksgiving side dishes from Cooks On A Mission! All proceeds will go to local missions projects.

 

Orders for Cooks On A Mission Thanksgiving side dishes are now open on Realm. Orders will be taken until Nov. 15. Pick up will be Wednesday, Nov. 20 between 2-6 p.m. If you have issues ordering online, call the church office to place your order over the phone (205.871.0331). 

 

The COAM Pop-Up Shop will be held the same day as food pick up, Nov. 20, from 1-5:30 p.m. behind the White Missionary house on Overbrook Road, adjacent to the church parking lot. We will offer our usual goodies, including Oreo Truffles, Peanut Butter Balls, Rosemary Cashews, etc. plus great gifts! Pop up shop items are first come, first served. Payment for Pop-Up Shop is via cash or check only.

Foster/Adoptive Parents' Night Out

Friday, December 6 from 5:30-9 p.m.


We will have games, crafts, meeting Santa, and a shop for the kids to buy presents for their parents while their foster/adoptive parents have a night out. Please consider helping with this and inviting your teens or adult family to join in the fun. Also, if you know of a foster/adoptive family that might benefit from this event, please share this link with them.

Grief and the Gospel Series

The Collection Cookbook Night

Come get together with other women to share a dish from The Collection Cookbook (an MBBC classic). Good news is we have room at the table for a few more. Let Cecil or Mary know by Friday if you are interested in coming and we'll send you Cecil's address.

2025 Women's Retreat

January 24-26, 2026

Willow Point Country Club


This year’s retreat theme is "Spiritual Stories" based on Psalm 28:7-9. We hope this retreat will provide opportunities for women to grow in their relationships with the Lord and one another.  Arrival times on Friday, January 24 are flexible; you are welcome to arrive anytime in the afternoon (dinner on your own) and we’ll gather for our first session at 7 p.m.


Lodging will either be at the Villas at Willow Point or on your own. 

We will have two options for return times: stay one night and return Saturday afternoon, January 25, or stay two nights and return Sunday morning, January 26. If you can, we hope you’ll plan to stay both nights and spend the weekend with us! 


Early Bird Registration Costs:

One Night (Staying at Willow Point): $125

One Night (Staying on Your Own): $75

Two Nights (Staying at Willow Point): $200

Two Nights (Staying on Your Own): $95
