Be Careful Living

Ephesians 5:15-17

Our scripture this Sunday is from Paul writing to the church in Ephesus to encourage Gentile believers, and to make it clear that Jews and Gentiles have been brought together as one community. We learn from Paul how to guide our own lives toward a stronger, closer relationship with God.

Our Covenant 2025 Ministry Campaign

Our congregation is celebrating how we have been blessed by God during October. Our Stewardship and Finance Chair, Jessica Colbert has written to each of us about our 2025 giving. She presented us with covenant of commitment cards, asking us to consider how we will answer God's call to serve our neighbors. Please be praying about the resources you will generously offer to help us be a witness for wholeness in a fragmented world.

If you have not had a chance to return your covenant card, please return it as soon as possible so that our Stewardship & Finance Team can complete our 2025 Ministry Plan.

Join us on the Journey of Discipleship:

What will you do?

November Outreach

Our November Outreach Project is to set the Thanksgiving table for two families of eight. Please sign-up to donate items on the sheets in the back of the sanctuary. Items are due back by Sunday, November 24th and I will deliver that afternoon.

Thank you, Torrie Goodman

The Thanksgiving Offering benefits the Colleges, Universities, Seminaries, and Divinity Houses affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).  Your gift to the Thanksgiving Offering helps support the education of thousands of students at our fifteen colleges and universities as well as our seven seminaries and divinity houses.

The special offering will be received on November 17 and 24 . Your gift makes a difference in the lives of our students, and it makes a difference in the world.

Thank you for your gifts to the Week of Compassion Special Offering for hurricane relief totaling $1305.00.

Week of Compassion is sending solidarity grants to Disciples congregations and households. 100% of all contributions designated 'Hurricane 2024' will go directly to these responses.

As Rev. Terri Hord Owens, General Minister & President says, "When Week of Compassion is there, the whole church is there!"
