Join us for the November COSA members meeting to network with your colleagues, share announcements from your organization, and hear from our speakers panel on the topic of housing in Western Massachusetts. Our panelists will be Shaundell Diaz, Program Director at Three County Continuum of Care, Community Action; Jodi Smith, Senior Vice President of Housing Education at Way Finders; and Keleigh BenEzra, Director of Shelter and Housing at Clinical and Support Options.

MA Attorney General's Office grant opportunity


The AGO Grants team is seeking applicants by November 15 for a new grant to fund public health programs providing tools and resources to promote gun violence prevention. This new grant opportunity aims to provide public health organizations with the funding they need to implement and expand their gun violence prevention initiatives and interventions.

TRANScend Massachusetts exhibit


TRANScend Massachusetts, a groundbreaking documentary photography and narrative exhibition, will have a grand opening at the Holyoke Public Library on November 13th. Organized by Transcending Identities and Northampton's Transhealth, and funded by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, this exhibition aims to elevate the voices and experiences of Latinx transgender and gender-diverse individuals. Show runs through Dec 20th.

Survivors of Suicide Loss Day on Nov 23rd


Each year, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention supports hundreds of Survivor Day events, in which suicide loss survivors come together to find connection through their shared experience. BHN invites you to join in a meaningful day filled with breakout groups, lunch, engaging activities, and a powerful AFSP-produced documentary that highlights themes of growth, resilience, and connection.

Substance Use Prevention webinar


Join ADAPT on November 13th from 3:00 - 4:30pm EST for a Technical Webinar with Dr. Robert LaChausse who will share strategies parents can engage in to prevent onset or escalation of substance use in their youth.
