ELECTION DAY WORSHIP

SERVICE & DINNER

On November 5, in partnership with the Wesley Foundation, we will co-host an Election Day Chapel service at 6 p.m., followed by a dinner.

In these divided times, we believe it is essential to come together to pray for our country and world. Christ compels us to unify our individual and collective lives around Love, Justice, and Peace.

The annual meeting of Central United Methodist Church will be held on November 10, 6 p.m. We will gather with other churches in our district at FUMC Albuquerque. Our District Superintendent, The Reverend Ross Whiteaker, will convene our annual meeting. All are welcome.

2024 FALL ADVOCACY CONFERENCE

All are invited to join Lutheran Advocacy Ministry-New Mexico on Saturday, November 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at All Saints Lutheran Church on Albuquerque's Westside for the 2024 Fall Advocacy Conference. This year's conference will feature several outstanding speakers, including Rev. Wayne Mueller, Sen. Jerry Ortiz y Pino (D), and Rep. Jason Harper (R).

Both morning refreshments and lunch will be provided. In-person registration is $25, and the Zoom online option is $15. You may register here: Fall Advocacy Conference!

If you want to volunteer at the event, please contact Kurt Rager at Lutheranadvocacy@yahoo.com.

We welcome you to join us for this wonderful ecumenical event! The conference is open to everyone interested in learning more about advocating public policies that impact our many neighbors living in poverty and hunger and other key advocacy areas prioritized by the Lutheran Advocacy Ministry—New Mexico.

On November 24, after the 11 a.m. service, our Altar Guild is inviting anyone to lunch and help to "hang the greens!" The Altar Guild has been working for weeks to refresh, renew, and repair our greens to decorate our church for Advent and Christmastide services. You may sign-up in the office or email Andy Stoker to get on the list for the fun!

La Mesa Presbyterian Church has invited churches in the area to serve our neighbors. For 30 years, La Mesa Presbyterian Church has engaged with this amazing ministry that serves about 1200 people. Central said YES! This is our kind of ministry: compassionate partnership and feeding our beloved!
