Save The Date: Kid's Winter Break Camp Registration Opens Nov. 25th!

CAG OCDSB PA Day Camp: Nov 8th, 2024

CAG is offering Day Camps/Holiday Camps for OCDSB, CECCE and CEPEO students for the 2024-25 school year!


Time: 8:45 am to 4:00 pm (Extended Care available until 5:30 pm)

Location: Brantwood Park Fieldhouse (39 Onslow Crescent)

Pricing: $55.00/day/child

Extended Care: $12.50/child

PA Day Camps will be themed, and indoor and outdoor activities will be based on the theme! The next PA Day Camp is Nov 8th, 2024, for OCDSB students.



A limited number of Extended-Care spots will be available depending on the date of the PA Day Camp. Extended Care will be offered from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm and children may be with our regular After-School program where required.

Ottawa East Homeschool Meet-Ups (4-15 yrs)


Dates: Nov. 5th, 2024 - March 25th, 2025

Day/Time: Tuesdays, 1:00 - 3:00pm

Location: Brantwood Park Fieldhouse (39 Onslow Crescent)

Pricing: $25.00/child/session

Drop-In Fee: $5.00/child (to a maximum of $25.00 for the session)

The Brantwood Park Fieldhouse Homeschool Meet-Ups provide an opportunity for community members, who are homeschooling their children, to get together to socialize, engage in activities, and play with the children in the warmth and shelter of the Brantwood Park Fieldhouse.

CAG is providing the facilities and a First Aid-trained staff to be present for the Meet-Ups. Parents and caregivers will plan and facilitate the activities for the children. Children must be accompanied by their parent(s) or caregiver(s) during these Meet-Ups.

Dates: Oct. 22nd 2024 - Feb. 25th, 2025

Day/Time: Tuesdays, 9:30am - 12 noon

Location: Brantwood Park Fieldhouse (39 Onslow Crescent)

Pricing: $25.00/child/session

Drop-in Fee: $5.00/child (to a maximum of $25.00 for the session)

CAG staff will facilitate the weekly activities for this playgroup. Crafts, sensory play, music, and more will be offered in the comfortable space of the Fieldhouse. Coffee/tea will be available.

Financial assistance is available.

Old Town Hall Part-Time

After-School Program


Dates: Aug. 27th, 2024 - June 27th, 2025 *

Time: 3:30pm - 5:30pm

Location: Old Town Hall (61 Main Street)

Pricing: $168.00/month (pro-rated for late registration)

Our After-School Program at Old Town Hall is now available on a part-time basis! Convenient for parents looking for after-school care for 2-3 days a week, our French-friendly program offers a mix of indoor and outdoor freeplay and planned activities. CAG's After-School Programs are offered to school-aged children from Kindergarten to Grade 6.

Better Body Bootcamp Late Fall Session Begins This Week!

From Monday Nov. 4th - Saturday Dec. 21st, join a supportive, women-only environment for a holistic fitness experience that provides a mix of challenges and camaraderie.


Our flexible registration system allows you to pick what classes work best for you! Whether that be in-person, online or a combination of the two. Enjoy prorated prices for late registration.

Somatic education is both art and science. It is a type of bodywork that focuses on the internal perceptions of the body. It unfolds through slow, guided explorations of mindful movement, at the intersection of health, self-regulation, consciousness, and self-transformation. These gentle explorations are suitable for participants of any age or movement background.

Annual General Meeting

The OOECA 2024 Annual General Meeting is Tuesday November 12th at 7:00pm, and will be hosted at The Atelier (95 Clegg Street) and online. There will be an opportunity for attendees to register for membership before the meeting, as well as a Social afterwards.

Old Ottawa East Remembrance Day Ceremony

On Sunday November 10th, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, join representatives of the Canadian Armed Forces and ex-Service associations, including the Legion & Womens’ section, Cadet forces, Councillor Menard and civic leaders, OOECA board and residents for a Remembrance Day commemoration at Brantwood Gates (Main Street and Beckwith Road).

Old Rideau River Pedestrian Bridge Virtual Public Consultation

The City of Ottawa will be hosting an online consultation on the Old Railway Rideau River Pedestrian Bridge Environmental Assessment study on November 6th, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Presentation materials will be posted to the City of Ottawa website 1 day before the presentation.

2025 Draft Budget Consultation

Capital Ward City Councillor Shawn Menard will be co-hosting a public consultation on the 2025 draft budget with Councillors Jessica Bradley (Gloucester-Southgate Ward), Riley Brockington (River Ward) and Marty Carr (Alta Vista Ward).


The consultation will be on Wednesday, November 20th at 7:00pm, at the Jim Durrell Recreation Centre, Ellwood Hall, 1265 Walkley Road.
