Hello Benjamin,
Can you believe this?? On Friday, a U.S. Army base in North Carolina alleged that National Right to Life, our national affiliate, is a terrorist group.
The President of National Right to Life Carol Tobias said it perfectly: βIn our over 50-year history, National Right to Life has always, consistently, and unequivocally, condemned violence against anyone.β
Thankfully, the U.S. Army quickly responded after criticism that the presentation did "not reflect the views" of the U.S. Army.
While we are thankful for their retraction, it goes to show the warped perspective some have in our Nation. We know that abortion is the antithesis of peace. Sadly, misinformation regarding the violence of abortion is commonplace, while the peaceful work of Right to Life organizations remains distorted by the abortion industry and unpublicized by the media.
This "slip up" by the U.S. Army should be a wake-up call that we must do everything we can to educate citizens about the love the pro-life movement has for both moms and babies. We have a great opportunity to do that this Saturday, July 20th at the Pro-Life Summit!
