PARENT'S DAY OUT

Mark your calendars for some fun activities this summer! AUMC is hosting Mother's Day out events FREE to any children going into Kindergarten through 5th grade this fall. Activities are TBD.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2024: CAMP FIRELIGHT

July 14-18, 5:30-8:30pm

Mark your calendars for VBS 2024: Camp Firelight! Vacation Bible School is open to children ages 4 years old through 6th grade. Click HERE to register. Last day to register your child for VBS is July 9th.

VOLUNTEER T-SHIRT & NAME TAG PICKUP

Sunday, June 30 and Sunday, July 7

Adult and youth volunteers, please pick up your shirts and name tags before VBS begins. Shirts and name tags may be picked up after each service this Sunday and next at the VBS table in the Narthex.

FINAL VBS DECORATING SESSION

Saturday, July 13, 10am-2pm

Join us as we decorate the church in preparation for a fun week of VBS! All are invited!

FELLOWSHIP OF MEN SUMMER RETREAT

July 12-14, Rockin G Ranch, Turkey, TX

Men, mark your calendars for the 2024 Summer Retreat at the Rockin G Ranch, including fishing tournament, shooting range, delicious meals, incredible views, and more. The cost is $75, and attendance is limited to 24. Sign up at the Connection Center. *All spots have now been FILLED; however, you may still join the wait list.

CHILDREN AND YOUTH:

Children's and Youth Ministries have planned two fun family events this summer! Parents must accompany the little ones, please.

Tuesday, July 23 - Join us at Burger's Lake in Fort Worth. Cost is $10 per person, plus money for concessions. More details to follow.

Monday, August 5 - Join us at NRH20 Family Water Park in North Richland Hills. Cost is $10 per person, plus money for concessions. More details to follow.

MEN'S DEVOTIONAL BREAKFAST

Mondays, 7:30am, MAC Center



Men, start your week with a brief devotional, led by David Stubbs. Burritos and coffee will be served. This is an opportunity to meet new people and decompress. The goal is for those not retired, to get back on the road by 8:15, at the latest. A donation of $5 is asked to cover the cost.

SUPPORT GROUPS FOR AREAS OF LIFE

Our groups are open to adults in our community who are experiencing daily challenges.

• Alzheimer's Support Group & Kaleidoscope - meets the second Thursday of each month at 1:00pm.
• Cancer Support Group - meets the second Tuesday of each month
• Caring Hearts/Stephen Ministers - offer compassionate and confidential prayer, support, and encouragement
