Dear Colleagues and Friends, here's hoping that you had fun times this summer, and that the call toward an inner turn in response to autumn's shortened days and cooler temperatures is a welcome one....

What's New at The Center for Mindful Body Awareness?

The highlight of summer Center activities were two presentations at the research symposium sponsored by the Massage Therapy Foundation at the American Massage Therapy Association's annual convention. One presentation was an overview of MABT and related research, and the other a presentation of the results from the Implementation of MABT for Chronic Pain study at Vanderbilt’s Osher Integrative Clinic by Katy Hanson, Brian Wingate and myself. It was fun to meet massage therapists interested in MABT and to reconnect with colleagues in the field.

Coming up we have a MABT Level 1 Training in December.

We are also offering an Educational Webinar that we hope you'll attend - see below!
