On September 17, 2024, the Board of Directors of the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council awarded $121,790 total to 14 emerging and 16 advancing artists. At this same meeting, they approved two School Residency grants.

Find out more about the creation of these groups, how they might benefit your artistic community, or how to find an art collective near you and become involved!
This series is offered as a FREE opportunity for professional and amateur artists of all artistic disciplines to increase their learning on a variety of topics, as well as engage in networking, resource sharing and socialization amongst creative peers throughout the region! All workshops will be available in-person and through Zoom.

This concert features two new chamber music works by David Kassler, including "Pictures at an Exhibition" with live dance and audience participation. Studio ARTour of South Central MN celebrates its 20th year. The 2024 tour features 18 locations and 33 artists. Most studios showcase several artists working in different media. The artists are glad to answer questions and provide information about the art, and many of the studios will have demonstrations.
