We are pleased to inform you about the recent enhancements made to the Availity Essentials portal for Connecticut Behavioral Health Partnership (CT BHP) Providers.

The Availity Essentials portal is the primary multi-payer claims platform for Carelon commercial networks. CT BHP providers who have HUSKY Health authorizations can now utilize Availity to access the ProviderConnect portal for authorization submission.

Starting June 15, 2024, the dedicated CT BHP Payer space will be live! This payer space is specific for HUSKY Health providers managing HUSKY Health authorizations. Please be aware that HUSKY Health information will no longer be visible under the Carelon payer space.

Additional Features for CT BHP Providers:

• Review member eligibility.
• Review previously submitted authorizations though the Authorization Management tile.
• Access ProviderConnect through Single Sign On.
• Toggle between multiple payer spaces within one application.

Please remember, for HUSKY Health claims, kindly continue to submit directly to Gainwell Technologies.

The direct ProviderConnect URL will remain unchanged for now and will continue to be accessible. Any future plans to modify the ProviderConnect homepage will be communicated well in advance.
