It was a delightful evening of fun, laughter, prizes and delicious food as we shared some of the wonderful happenings planned for our upcoming season. Thank you to all who joined us and to the many who worked so hard to prepare for the event.

AGM

Please join us for our Annual General Meeting this Sunday, September 29 at 2:00 pm. Warm up for the big event by bringing a potluck dish at 12:30 to share with fellow members. A great opportunity to greet old friends before the meeting. The annual reports are being posted on the website as they are submitted. If possible, please read in advance.

The Mousetrap

We are well into rehearsal for our first production of the season. The Mousetrap, Agatha Christie's iconic murder mystery, written in 1952, is by far the longest running of any play, keeping audiences worldwide on the edge of their seats. Directing Workshop

Friday to Sunday, October 4-6

We’re delighted to bring back Liz Hobbs to conduct a workshop for experienced and prospective directors. Liz has directed two excellent and ambitious productions for Shuswap Theatre, Romeo and Juliet and The Secret Garden. Apart from being a highly skilled director she is also a very fine teacher. Deadline to register is Sept. 30.

Our wonderful improv Group, Laughing Gas, will begin their season on October 7. They meet on the first and third Mondays of each month from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Anyone aged 18 or over is welcome to join this drop-in group. Check out the details on our website, including who to contact if you have questions.
