Lake Elberta Update

Five Apalachee Audubon board members and volunteers recently visited Lake Elberta Park to check on the progress of our ongoing projects. The westside native plant garden received some much-needed weeding, and both the chimney swift tower and purple martin arrays are in great shape. We also discussed plans for mulching and adding more native plants, which we hope to accomplish soon. The park’s pollinators and birds are thriving, and we consistently receive positive feedback from park visitors.

Want to get involved? Email us at apalacheeaudubon@gmail.com to lend a hand at the park, or consider donating to help us purchase supplies and more native plants. Your support makes a difference!
