Legislative Updates: Consultation on a new regulation proposal for Posting Records of Washroom Cleaning

The Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) is seeking feedback on a potential new regulation under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) that would require certain workplace parties to ensure that records of cleaning of washroom facilities are posted.

The proposed regulation would apply to the wide range of workplaces that fall under the OHSA, including construction projects, industrial establishments, mines, farming operations and healthcare facilities. To help maintain your vehicle's control and stability in icy conditions, you should install winter tires in sets of 4. Vehicle handling will improve when tires with the same type, size, speed rating, and load index are installed on all 4 wheels. Don't mix tires with different tread patterns, internal construction, and size; they will make your vehicle less stable.

2024-2025 Compliance Campaign

From April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, MLITSD inspectors will be focusing on several areas, sector specific. Please take a look below for more information on your particular sector's compliance campaign initiatives and available resources through IHSA. MLITSD Construction inspectors will conduct two enforcement campaigns; Falls from heights in single-family residential and multi-family residential including residential re-roofing and struck by material, equipment and vehicles
