FROM THE DESK OF
Executive Director, Dan Mauer
June 2024
Summer's here, everyone — welcome to the latest edition of our monthly newsletter, Mission Matters!
Well, it's official: Our big annual fundraiser—Art for the Children—is in the books, and WOW! What a success!
| We had an absolutely amazing night and raised over $100,000 for Medical Missions! |
I'd like to thank…
Armacost Car Museum, Nigro Brothers Auctioneers, Kansas City Chiefs Red Coaters, Studio Dan Meiners, Scrape the Plate Catering, Mikey Needleman, Fast Signs, J & J Printing, David Uhlig and all the artists and businesses that donated auction items.
| But most of all, I'd like to thank YOU—our supporters. Because without your generous and unwavering support over the years, our mission of providing surgical and medical care to underserved communities throughout the world wouldn't happen. |
Warehouse Cleanup Day
Our Warehouse Cleanup Days are now held on the second Saturday of each month. Please join us next Saturday, June 15th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at our office (8363 Melrose Dr., Lenexa, KS 66214) for Warehouse Cleanup Day. We always have a lot of fun, so come by and pitch in!
|
Also, if you'd like to help us make sure we've got what we need for upcoming missions—click here to see a list of needed items. Before donating supplies, please contact Sulamita Ortiz, Missions Assistant, to make arrangements, or call 913-338-0343. Thank you!
By the way, do you know any students who need volunteer hours? Medical Missions Foundation will put them to work!
