Dear Colleagues,

Last week, the University made a generous offer to the leadership of the Union of Adjunct Faculty of Pace (UAFP). The union has indicated that it plans to vote on the offer this week and we expect to learn the outcome next week. Our previous offer has been enhanced and reflects real progress on many issues that are of great importance to the adjunct faculty. We believe it will pay them fairly and improve their benefits.

We can confidently say that the University has done all it can at the bargaining table to show it values our adjunct faculty members. As is our mission, we are prepared to ensure that our students' education continues uninterrupted. If you have any questions, please reach out directly to your academic dean.

For several months we have worked diligently and collaboratively to find a resolution that supports our faculty, prioritizes our students' educational success, and ensures a sustainable financial future for Pace. We believe we have achieved this balance in our proposal.

Thank you for your support throughout these negotiations.

Sincerely,

Jonathan H. Hill, DPS
