The 2024 Showcase of Schools Featured Hundreds of Choice and Career Opportunities Throughout the District

Thousands of people came out to the South Florida Fairgrounds for the 2024 Showcase of Schools! This event is an opportunity for parents and students to learn more about the 330+ Choice and Career programs in the Palm Beach County School District. Click here to watch a recap of the event.

See How the 19th Annual Read for the Record Day Brought Literacy to Life

The mission of Read for the Record Day is to highlight the importance of building early literacy and language skills for every child so that all children have the opportunity to enter kindergarten prepared to succeed.


The event encourages students and teachers all over the country to read the same book on the same day. This year's national book selection was "Piper Chen Sings," which was read to students by guest readers, including Superintendent Burke!

Hurricane Milton left its mark on our community with at least four confirmed tornadoes ripping through Palm Beach County. But Team Palm Beach came together, lifting up the community and supporting one another during this time of need.

This Week's Thank a Teacher Winner is a Second Generation District Educator!

This week’s Thank a Teacher winner is a product of the Palm Beach County School District and her mom was even a teacher at Discovery Key Elementary School! Ms. Christin Santiago says her work with students at Sunset Palms Elementary is a way to honor her mom’s memory.


For her dedication and hard work, Ms. Santiago received a $350 check from our business partner, HCA Florida Healthcare.

A New Community Partner Donates to District School

The new Burlington store in Boynton Beach had quite the exciting grand opening this month, as the store generously presented Galaxy E3 Elementary School with a $5,000 check. As part of their Adopt a Classroom initiative, the donation will provide financial assistance to the school's teachers for necessary classroom supplies.
