π¨ Citizenship in Society Merit Badge Counselor Orientation: July 21st π¨
The HOVC Advancement Committee is pleased to offer Orientation sessions, for those selected by their units, to serve as Citizenship in Society Merit Badge Counselors. Please remember that we need each Troop to have a designated Counselor in order to fulfill the objectives of the badge. Unit leaders and Committees, think about who is best suited to guide your Scouts, on this personal journey. Registration closes Friday, July 19th.
Cub Scouts... earn the new Summertime Fun Adventure this Summer! The National Summertime Pack award has been reimagined into an exciting elective adventure. This new adventure may be one of the simplest, it has one requirement and that is: anytime during May through August, participate in a total of three Cub Scout activities.
A great way to honor your Eagle Scout is to sponsor a personally engraved Eagle Brick, to be placed at the flag plaza at Camp T. Brady Saunders, overlooking Lake Dillon. The cost is $200 per brick which includes engraving of up to eighteen characters per line (letters, space and punctuation) with a maximum of two lines. 2024 Eagle Challenge Brick orders are due Friday, July 12th, 2024.
