Let the Holidays Begin!

Hi, my friends!

What a month! Well, I was not working for most of it, but our team was busy with Hispanic Heritage Month events and caterings. THANK YOU!!!

We are so grateful to have been included in events and covered by the press for the best Mexican food or Hispanic restaurant. We also welcomed end-of-season tourists and celebrated birthdays, making September a very happy month.

Now, it's time to get ready for the holiday season. Yes, it's here!

As you know, we are growing our salsa jar business, and November and December are historically our busiest months for salsa orders. So... please order ahead! This year, we will stop accepting orders on December 16 and ship with USPS.

Equally, we have tamales for your holiday gatherings ready for pickup or shipping! Our tamales are homemade and fast-frozen. We sell and ship them cold so you can finish thawing them or put them in the freezer until ready to eat. We will also stop accepting orders on December 16. Order ahead for tamales!

If you are near us, skip shipping and order catering or food delivery! From hot chocolate and churros to our famous burritos and taco bars, let us make your holiday reunions a real fiesta! Your catering, salsa, and tamal orders keep us afloat through the slower winter months. We certainly want and hope to see you at the restaurant, but if it snows and you choose to work remotely these orders can keep us open.

Please order from us!

Last but not least- let's start the holiday season with our favorite Mexican tradition: Día de Muertos. As you know, we set up our altar and welcome everyone to view it at the restaurant. Come by to see it and get Mexican sweet bread (the traditional pan de muerto), hot chocolate, or one of our popular "altar packs" to observe this holiday at home. We will have these items available every day during the last week of October. Since Day of the Dead falls on a weekend this year, we are excited to welcome you and the kids for some free sugar skull painting on Saturday, November 2, before we remove our outdoor seating!

This season is my favorite because it makes us focus on what matters most: our family, our community, and being together. We look forward to seeing you and serving you to end 2024 in a delicious and beautiful way, my friends!

Join us at the pink tent!

We are proud and excited to participate once again in the Codman Square Health Center's benefit Men of Boston Cook for Women's Health.

It is one of the longest charity events we have participated in, and we have so much fun every year!

We will be there sampling our black salsa, and there are 20 fellow local restaurants participating. You will definitely eat well, dance, and laugh. See you there!

Day of the Dead

As you read above, our annual Día de Muertos celebration is happening during the last week of October.

Pan de muerto, the sweet bread made exclusively for this holiday, Mexican hot chocolate, and "altar packs" will be available for purchase that week only.

You can order ahead for pickup or delivery. We welcome you to visit us to view the altar any day that week!

On Saturday, November 2, sugar skulls will be available on a first-come-first-served basis for kids to decorate for free from 10am to 1pm, rain or shine, in our patio!
