OUR MISSION:

To Enrich the Health and Lives

of the People We Serve

As I move into my third month at CHCS, I am in awe of the talent and commitment displayed by each of you – thank you for making a profound difference in the lives of our patients, residents, and teammates!

We have been investing energy and resources planning our new Health Center in St. George and planning the expansion of our Health Center in Holton.

This is an exciting step in our rich history, writing a new chapter in our CHCS book.

Thank you for embracing this growth and change - it is wonderful to see us binding together to ensure CHCS remains special and unique for generations to come.

In each and every moment, our challenges remain the same – to grow in resilience as individuals and as a team. This means accepting whatever circumstances are presented to us and expanding our ability to respond in the healthiest way possible. I appreciate you always applying yourselves to these principles and placing team first!

I believe this is what it means to live a good and meaningful life - to strive for excellence in all we do.

Any living being, individual, organization or society measures its health by its ability to adapt.

Witness the adaptation of any organism to find new ways to ensure its health and growth.

We are no different. We need to constantly assess the world as it is and choose actions that ensure our health, our improvement, and our growth.

This is why our path ahead is so pivotal, important, and invigorating. It presents us with so many opportunities to remember what we have accomplished and what we can become.

This moment in time is asking us to become more alert to changes around us and more adept at choosing healthy responses.

I am grateful to be part of our CHCS team – thank you for making a difference!

HELLO, JELLO!

Cheryl Herrman drove our resident bus with 4 of our residents. The group photo features, from left to right: Shannon Heim, Beth Fairbanks, Natasha Palmeri, Emma Monteleone and Jake McNally-Knoblauch. Several of the employees' children rode the float with us, too. The popsicles were a hit!

It's vacation time!! It's fun to get away but be careful in your travels. Be aware of the diseases you may encounter, especially if traveling out of the US. CDC has a travel site you can use to see if the places you are going to have any disease travel warnings. Just enter the country you are traveling to and it will list any travel warnings and what you can do to protect yourself. Have fun!!
