Most Handsome Wins Hollywood Beach in Photo Finish

Post time favorite Most Handsome took a two-length lead into the run for home but had to hold off a late charge by Mila’s Wish to win a narrow photo finish and the $95,000 Hollywood Beach for 2-year-olds at Gulfstream Park Saturday. Most Handsome remained undefeated in two starts as Florida-breds took the top four spots in the five-furlong Hollywood Beach, originally scheduled for turf but switched to the synthetic course.

Florida-bred Sophistry Takes Winning Formula Into E. L. Gaylord

Last year trainer Herman Wilensky won the E. L. Gaylord at Remington Park with Chi Chi after starting the Florida-bred filly at Del Mar. Sunday, his son Sam Wilensky tries the same formula with his Florida-bred Sophistry in Sunday’s edition of the $50,000 E. L. Gaylord, a six-and-a-half-furlong main track event for 2-year-old fillies.
