Leadership Grove Session 3, City Government, kicked off at City Hall. Assistant City Manager Darren Cook lead the way with an explanation of how the city works and an update on happenings around the town.

Thank you to Police Chief Mark Morris and Assistant Fire Chief Rocky DeSilva for a great day of domestic violence training, traffic stop training and fire hose training. The group really enjoyed the opportunity to learn how our police and fire department work and came out with a great understanding of the departments. Another BIG thank you to Jason & Kim Shearer, owners of Grand Country Pest Control for providing a wonderful lunch. All in all, it was a great day. We appreciate our very large class so much! What a creative and energetic group!

CHAMBER CONNECTION LUNCHEON

The Chamber Connection Luncheon was held Thursday, October 10th, at Northeast Tech's Business and Industry Services building in Grove.

Mary Richardson made a very informative and inspiring presentation about the Grove Rotary Club's dedication to Dolly Pardon's Imagination Library Program. To help promote literacy, books are sent to children every month, from ages 0-5. Mary shared information about how it works and how we can help. Find donation information here https://imaginationlibrary.com/usa/affiliate/OKDELAWARE/ and mark January 16th for "Dolly Day" and stay tuned for some exciting fundraising and awareness events!

Thank you to everyone that attended and thank you to Chaney Insurance Agency and Local Bank for sponsoring the lunch catered by Mulligans. Thank you as well to Northeast Tech for supporting Grove Area Chamber, our community and our businesses.
