Way Finders Presents: Fair Housing and Civil Rights Conference 2024 Bonus Round! A FREE One-Day Virtual Event. Thursday, June 27th 9:45 AM – 4:00 PM. Following up on their successful return to an in-person conference in April, Way Finders is offering a special bonus day of online workshops for those of you who weren’t able to make it to Springfield this year – and for those of you who did. Workshops topics will include: Guidance From HUD: VAWA, Advertising on Digital Platforms and Tenant Screening; Housing Tenants with a Mental Health Diagnosis; and Understanding and Embracing Neurodiversity in the Workplace & Beyond. This event is FREE, but you must register in order to be able to attend.

Community Legal Aid receives $100,000 grant


Baystate Health recently announced that $100,000 of the 2024 Better Together grants will go towards funding the CLA Family Preservation Project. This program provides legal support to families involved with DCF who may be separated for poverty-induced reasons rather than because of neglect or abuse.

They're thrilled to announce that they have moved across the street to a new location at 278 Main Street, Suite 202 in Greenfield! They will be sprucing things up this summer and will open their doors at their new location this fall. Congrats!

New anthology created by survivors


Safe Passage has just released a collection of writing and artwork by their resilient community members. The volume is called “Survival and Beyond: A Survivor Anthology.” Safe Passage's volunteer coordinator, Alec Reitz, explains what inspired the work in this NEPM article.

MassBudget analysis of FY25 State Budget


With Fair Share revenue surpassing expectations, more money could go to education and transportation in the House and Senate compromise. Based on the Fair Share revenues collected in FY24, extra income would allow budget writers greater room for key investments in these two areas in FY25.
