đŸ‘»1st annual Trunk or Treat was a howling good time🍭

🎃Thank you to everyone who helped to make our first annual Trunk or Treat a spooktacular success this past Sunday! The Children + Family Ministry team hosted a dozen decorated trunks and lots of local families. Warm drinks were served and lots of bellies filled with delicious treats! We look forward to making this community event even bigger and better next year đŸŹđŸ«â

Liturgical arts installation “Walking in the Word”

If you've been in the sanctuary recently, you've seen the beautiful installation piece our Liturgical Arts Ministry Team created for our fall sermon series.

Do you know the story behind it?

Bibsy O'Donoghue shared, "I woke up one morning at 3:00am and thought of the words “Walking in the Word” and silhouettes of people popped into my mind. I reached out to the team and Nancy Howell came up with an example of silhouettes. Nancy and a few of the team members then met and painted the version on the right of the cross in Nancy’s studio. Paul Papadonis painted the piece “Walking in the Word.”

Nancy added, "My sense was that I wanted to create a group of people, each walking in their own word but connecting as a group."

This is truly a labor of love, and we're so grateful for the talented artists who brought this vision to life.
