Alternative Worship Task Force Update
The Alternative Worship Task Force has been extremely busy developing the framework for our new experience. Over the past few weeks, we have discussed the format, songs, processes, support and staffing that will be needed. It is taking form with the emphasis on experiment, evolution, and excellence. At this time, we know this will be a time for joyous song and praise to be held on Saturday evenings (start date TBD). Watch for more details as our work continues!

CSM Resurrection House Cooking
The Community Service Ministry is looking for volunteers to help with cooking for Resurrection House. We welcome new faces to join in on the fun and preparing a fulfilling meal to those that are living on the streets of our home town! If you think that you will be able to help then please call the office to let us know that you will be there so that we can plan accordingly for the meal. Please put the following dates on your calendar - September 26th, October 24 & November 14th. We will not be cooking in December.

Women’s Ministry Save the Dates!
On Tuesday, October 29th, 10:30 in the music room, our Women's Book Group will discuss the second half of My Dear Hamilton by Stephanie Dray.
On Tuesday, December 3rd, 10:30 in the music room, we'll discuss Beyond That, The Sea by Laura Spence Ash.
Saturday, December 7th, 12:30 in Fellowship Hall, we'll enjoy our Advent Luncheon. All women are welcome.

Pastor Ken's Weekly Bible Study
Join us this Fall

Join Pr. Ken each weekly as he leads Bible study! These sessions take place on Wednesday mornings from 11:00am-noon both in-person and on zoom.
The class discusses the Scripture texts assigned for the forthcoming Sunday worship services. Each week there is a good mix of lay people and retired pastors, with each group bringing their unique perspectives on life and Scripture – it’s a fun group!
Pr. Ken shares a calendar month of handouts in advance so that participants can look ahead and read the comments of Lutheran scholars prior to each session. Please click the button below to have materials sent to you.

Name Tags
If you’ve ordered a name tag, they are hanging on the name tag wall outside of the sanctuary. Don’t forget to wear your name tag on Sundays in order to get to know your neighbor! If you still need a name tag, please contact Nina at nina@saklc.com or at 941-388-1234.
