Because we will be celebrating the 100^th anniversary of the Horn Book with Editor in Chief Elissa Gershowitz and many of the illustrators who have graced their covers including Caldecott Honor artists Micha Archer, Brian Pinkney, Peter Sis, Grace Lin, National Book Award finalist Jarrett Krosoczka and others.

Because Harold Grinspoon and PJ Library will be here to accept the 2024 R. Michelson Galleries Lifetime Achievement Award for Contribution to Children’s Literacy

Because we have recreated part of Caldecott Medalist and all-around picture-book legend Jerry Pinkney’s studio, and you can sit in his “Idea Chair” and be surrounded by the watercolors Jerry kept around him for inspiration, now on view and available for the first time.

Because you will have the very first opportunity ever to view and purchase original artworks of everyone's favorite pig. Yes, we are talking about Caldecott Honor artist Ian Falconer's Olivia.
