COMMUNITY PARTNER EVENT

LONG BEACH ORGANIC

Long Beach Organic (LBO) is a nonprofit organization operating nine organic community gardens in Long Beach, CA. Founded in 1994, LBO locates urban vacant lots from public and private owners. It turns them into beautiful community gardens for local and sustainable food production. LBO is dedicated to alleviating food insecurity among students at LBSU. Since 2020, we have donated over 18,000 lbs of local, organic produce to the Laurén Chalmers '83 Beach Pantry.

Join us every Wednesday to help harvest for the Beach Pantry! Our Giving Gardens are managed by volunteers, so RSVP here to join us!
