We may be approaching the tail end of summer but there’s still plenty of outdoor fun to be had with our exciting new Rally Class!



Lynnette Smith, HSSC’s Canine Behavior & Training Manager, is excited to be expanding our curriculum. “AKC Rally is a dog sport that we’ve wanted to offer for a long time and we think it will be a great fit for our students!”  

Who: HSSC Academy of Dog Instructor, Ariel Orr 

What: AKC Rally is a companion sport that demonstrates the teamwork between dog and handler as they move through a course together. Each course consists of signs depicting training exercises that teams must perform to successfully finish the course.  

Where: HSSC’s Santa Rosa Campus, Agility Field 

When: Sunday mornings, starting September 15  

What Else? Prerequisites: It's Elementary Level 2 or equivalent (sit, stay, down, loose-leash walking with left, right, and about turns). Please bring a crate for your dog.
