Our Spring Break 2024 two-day camp was a hit. Each day we had more than 25 kids learning and laughing their way through lots of engaging educational activities.
Day one started with them constructing solar eclipse viewers using shoe boxes, making solar bead bracelets and solar prints. They ended the day trying their luck at an Escape Room Challenge. On day two, they engineered Lego builds to find the fastest model down a zip line. They worked their creative / mindfulness muscles doing Zentangle and Musical Chairs using art. To close out the day, they played Minute to Win It challenges to score some fun prizes, their favorite was the Cookie Face Challenge.
"We enjoy offering educational fun while the kids are on break," said 15-LOVE Executive Director Amber Marino. "They have fun meeting new kids while learning new things. We provide lunch both days and this year we had tacos one day, which was a first for a couple of our kids. They really enjoyed them."
