Preacher: Kristy Farber

Scripture: John 15:9-17

“How many slams in an old screen door?

Depends how loud you shut it.

How many slices in a bread?

Depends how thin you cut it.

How much good inside a day?

Depends how good you live 'em.

How much love inside a friend?

Depends how much you give 'em.”

Things to Know Today

Class led by Hugo Torres,

Sunday Mornings

9:30am Fireside Room

The Hidden History of the Gospels

This Sunday at 9:30am in the Fireside Room

We all know the four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. But did you know that each of the Gospels is speaking to a different audience, and some of them are drawing from previous writings or stories? Join us as we begin a three-week series where we explore the formation of the Gospels. Week one we discuss the four canonical Gospels and how they came about, Week two we will take a look at the Gnostic Gospels (i.e. the ones that didn't make it into the Bible), and Week three we will cover the formation of the New Testament canon. Each class session can be attended individually but attending all three sessions will provide a great overview into how we came to have the Christian Bible we are all familiar with today.

Spring Youth Group

Join Sunday Youth Group, which includes community-building, fun activities, and faith discussions for students in grades 6-12. We'll gather from 5:00 to 6:30 PM on May 5 and 19, led by Dan & Julie, and Tiger.
