Spring fling Building Fundraiser Report
Thank you SO much to all of the volunteers who participated in our parking efforts on Friday evening and all day and evening Saturday! We had hoped for a larger response, but this year, the Spring Fling vendors were all stationed along Main St., Morgan Square, and South Church St. In 2019, when our youth did their fundraiser, vendors came all the way up Church St. to Saint John St., so the activity was much closer to Central than this year. Also, the city parking garage on North Church and Magnolia Streets was open for free parking this year.
HOWEVER, we collected $976.00 from those who attended the Spring Fling. One driver only had $6 in cash which accounts for the odd final number received. In addition, a very supportive church member donated $200 to the building fund for our parking effort, bringing our weekend grand total to $1,176. This isn’t a bad amount, and as several people mentioned, every dollar donated to our project is truly appreciated.
Thanks again for the wonderful help this weekend.
Blessings to all,
Bill Fitch

The Divine Feminine
a service devoted to the heroines' adventure
Stories and Myths are the poetic language of the spirit and can lead us to an inner knowledge that we all are seeking. When we speak of the heroines' adventure, it is often interpreted as a 'wild adventure,' however, the term 'wild' should not be translated as being out-of-control. Rather a more authentic meaning is living a natural life. On this Mother's Day evening, we will hear stories and myths that convey the spirited feminine.
Immediately following the Service, join us for a Mother's Day Evening, Tea.
