NEVADA MOONSHOT FLIGHT CREW

The Nevada Moonshot Flight Crew is a group of Nevada youth ranging between the ages of 13 to 17 who are ready to engage in opportunities & advocate for STEM. The members will receive monthly trainings on public speaking, advocacy, leadership, and more.

Meet Flight Crew Member, Melody!

Living in a rural town, Melody joined the Flight Crew to advocate for more STEM resources due to a decline in local activities. Melody's STEM interest began in fourth grade with her school's coding club and was nurtured by attending the Junior National Young Leaders Conference and securing an internship in 7th grade. Melody aspires to be a pediatric nurse and help others believing that "if I see someone & help them, I know I've made a difference in the world."
