Our UCS dance team and many other families are preparing a float, ATVs, etc. to be a part of the parade. The parade is Saturday, May 25 at 11:00 am.

April Regular Session Board Meeting Minutes

If you did not purchase a 2022-2023 Yearbook, there are only TWO copies left for sale in the School Office. The cost is $15.

We are excited to offer the below fundraisers to help you reach your fundraising goal of $500 per family (profit) for the upcoming school year! We will keep track of what each family sells throughout the year. You can pick and choose which fundraisers you wish to participate in throughout the school year.

PARENTS' PRAYER MEETING! 

Come join us as we pray for our students, families, teachers, staff, and school! We will meet every Thursday morning from 8:15 - 8:40 am in the main building, room 107, Brother Ralph's classroom. Parents, grandparents, and friends of UCS are welcome!

Students are considered tardy after 8:12 am. Tardies accumulate for each quarter. At three (3) tardies, the student will begin losing break or recess privileges in order to make up any work missed. After six (6) unexcused tardies, students will begin serving a ½ hour detention starting at 3:30 pm for each additional tardy in that quarter. A $10 fee will be assessed to the parent for each detention served to cover the cost of a detention supervisor.

If you are 70 1/2 or older, you can ask your IRA custodian to donate directly from your Traditional IRA account to your favorite qualified charity. This can be part of your Required Minimum Distribution. The amount directly transferred to your charities from a Traditional IRA will not be taxed as income to you. An additional savings may be Medicare monthly premiums which are based on annual income. Please consult with your financial planner or tax adviser.

Sports Physicals: 

Due by first day of practice for 5th - 8th grade students participating in any sport including cheer.

There is an Illinois State form to be turned in to the School Office for each of these required exams. Forms are provided by the physician's office.
