Temple Beth El's Annual Congregational Meeting will be held on

Wednesday, May 29 at 5:30 pm.

All congregants are encouraged to attend the annual meeting to stay informed, vote on critical matters, and be part of the decision-making process that shapes the future of our community.

Important topics will include: finance review and 2024-2025 Annual Budget adoption, ratification and approval of new Board Members, Individual/Committee Reports and more.

Cemetery Cleanup

Start Sunday with a mitzvah by joining us for the seasonal cleanup of the Temple Beth El cemetery. We will be focusing on monument cleaning. If possible, please bring work gloves and gardening tools. No experience is necessary. There will be a role for everyone!

Maya Fleekop Bat Mitzvah

My name is Maya Fleekop and I will become Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, May 18. I am currently in 7th grade at Gulf Breeze Middle School. My favorite subjects are ELA and Math. I enjoy dance and recently started taking tennis lessons. I also love to read and FaceTime my Jacobs Camp friends.

For my Bat Mitzvah Project I am organizing a “Summer Fun Drive” for students at Brentwood Elementary. I am collecting coloring books, art supplies, jump ropes, frisbees, and anything else you think would be fun for a kid over the summer. Items can be brought to the Temple through May 21.

I am looking forward to becoming a Bat Mitzvah and am thankful to all my teachers who helped me prepare. I hope you can share this special day with me and my family. If you are able to attend, please RSVP to andreafleekop@gmail.com

Join Us in the Fight Against Hunger!

 The Social Justice Committee is excited to announce our annual collaboration with Manna Food Bank and the National Association of Letter Carriers' Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Last year, this drive resulted in a remarkable 96,000 pounds of nonperishable food donations for our community.

This year's food drive is taking place on Saturday, May 11.

Look for a bag to be placed in your mailbox, fill it with your generous donations, and simply place it back in your mailbox for pickup.

Your contributions make a significant impact, and Manna Food Pantry relies on our support to sort, organize, and distribute these food items to those in need. Together, we can help make a difference in the lives of many. There are two ways you can participate:

• Donate to the Food Drive: Fill the bag provided with nonperishable food items and leave it in your mailbox on Saturday, May 11 for pickup.

• Volunteer at Manna Food Bank: Join our Temple Beth El team on Tuesday, May 21 to help sort and organize food donations. (See above for details)
