3 Fire Chief Candidates Advance to Interviews in Duncanville

STARTING SALARY RANGE $39,637.01 - $57,473.67

Salary is dependent upon education and experience.


MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and three (3) years of related work experience.


CERTIFICATION, LICENSE AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Requires Animal Euthanization and Basic Animal Control Officer Training Certifications. Valid Texas driver’s license. Must be able to pass a background check.

SALARY RANGE

$84,542 - $122,587


MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Requires a High School Diploma and eight (8) years of related work experience OR An Associate’s Degree in a related field and six (6) years of related work experience OR A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with four (4) years of related work experience.

CITY FORESTER


Minimum Salary: $56,225.86*

Midpoint Salary: $68,876.68

Maximum Salary: $81,527.50

* Any salary above the minimum amount is dependent on education and experience and at the discretion of the department Director, HR Director, and City Manager


MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor’s degree in Urban Forestry or related field or equivalent.

At least (4) years of prior forestry experience in an urban setting.

A Texas CDL driver's license preferred.

EQUIPMENT SERVICES SUPERINTENDENT


SALARY RANGE $70,983.85-$102,926.59

*Salary is dependent on education and experience.*


MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor’s Degree with five (5) years of fleet management experience at a management level OR ASE Certification with eight (8) years of fleet management experience at a management level OR Any combination of education and experience totaling a minimum of eight (8) years may be considered.

REMINDER: Place trash, recycling, brush, and bulk debris at the curb/alley no earlier than 12:01 AM and no later than 7:00 AM on scheduled collection days.


No construction materials will be picked up. These items must be disposed of by the contractor or taken to Skyline Landfill for a $35 fee.
