Hello everybody!
We had a wonderful Summer Social on Saturday evening! Kudos to Fr. Loi for being the first, among many, to enter the dunking booth. My thanks to the Knights of Columbus and our many volunteers, youth and adult, who worked together to provide this great opportunity for our whole community.
The OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation - formerly RCIA) began Monday, August 19. If you have questions about the Catholic faith or are interested in exploring the possibility of becoming Catholic, it’s not too late to inquire. Your interest is greatly welcomed! Currently we have 7 seeking full communion (which is confirmation and eucharist), 2 seeking full initiation (baptism, eucharist, confirmation), and 4 children seeking full initiation at the Easter Vigil.
Our meal packing event is Saturday, September 7, and is an awesome way to put your faith into action. This all ages event needs 200 volunteers to help pack 20,000 meals for the hungry in Burkina Faso. We currently have 56 volunteers signed up and I encourage you to consider this event for you and your family. Please sign up here.
On a final note, the Men's Welcome Weekend Experience team will be in the gathering space this weekend to invite men, 21+ to take their faith to a whole new level. Welcome Experience date is September 28-29. The sign up link can be found in the calendar below.
