YAF-LFRT Future Forward Grant submissions are open

A project presented by the Large Firm Roundtable (LFRT) and AIA Young Architects Forum (YAF), the Future Forward grant supports students, emerging professionals, and early-career architects in testing new ideas that disrupt the traditional conception of practice, process, and product in the field of architecture. The grant period opened on March 15 and runs through April 19. Learn more

WLS Calls for Proposals Timeline

The call for proposals will open May 6 and close June 14, 2024. More information will be available in the coming weeks. In the meantime, questions about WLS 2024 may go to womeninarch@aia.org. 

AIA announces winners of the Young Architects Award, Associates Award 2024

Explore the Young Architects Award 2024 winners who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and significant contributions to the architecture profession and their communities. Winners exhibit talent, innovation, and a commitment to excellence early in their careers.

Five recipients have been selected for the AIA Associates Award. The Associates Award is given to individual Associate AIA members to recognize outstanding leaders and creative thinkers for significant contributions to their communities and the architecture profession.

2024 Small Project Design (SPD) Knowledge Community Grant Program 

The SPD advisory committee is pleased to announce the 2024 Small Project Design Knowledge Community Grant. The purpose of this grant is to provide financial support for nonprofit organizations working with architects on community-based projects. Along with supporting the work of nonprofit organizations, we want to demonstrate the value of hiring an architecture firm (and AIA member) for community projects, by helping cover some of the costs associated with hiring the design team. Applications are due April 19.
